In late 2007, after some discussion amongst a few friends it was decided that there was very little available in the way of information and discussion about local motorsports in Central Victoria. This led to the development of a small pilot forum which lasted a couple of months. This pilot forum showed us there was an interest in discussions about motorsports and of course, the friendly banter that goes with the sport.

The suggestions and ideas of other fellow members has seen the creation of the Logo for CVMotorsport.com, the purchase of our domain name, the purchase of our forum so that it is now owned by CVMotorsport.com The Forum and site are now more than 2 years old and have continued to grow and to develop along the way. CVMotorsport has been entered into different events and has managed to be seen in a national magazine and its members have been seen on local TV and in other publications.

CVMotorsport.com is now a recognised forum amongst people who attend Winton Motor Raceway, the participants and spectators who attend the Bagshot Complex and slowly, those who attend the drags at Heathcote Park Raceway. It is also recognised as the premium site for information on AUSCAR and Sportsman racing and has joined forces with AUSCAR Racing Pty. Ltd. to rebuild the lost history of one of the nations great motor sport spectacles created by the legend of Australian motor sports, Mr Bob Jane.

CVMotorsport.com hopes to continue to develop its name through these and more areas of local motorsport throughout Central and Country Victoria and eventually become the premier site for Club Level Motorsport discussion. A place to share ideas, to share experiences, to share what events are on and where as well as linking our members to businesses that want to look after them.
